How You Can Support Our Community: Household Goods, Food, and Financial Donations
Donating Household Goods & Food Items
At Waiuku Family Support Network, we are incredibly grateful for the generosity of our community. While we don’t have the storage capacity to accept donations of household goods or clothing, we work closely with the local Op Shop’s, where our clients can access donated items. If you have gently used household goods or clothing to donate, please consider dropping them off directly at the Op Shop, where they can be redistributed to those in need.
For food donations, we ask that you please check the expiry dates on items before donating them. Unfortunately, we cannot accept expired food as we aim to provide safe, quality products to those who need them. If you would like to donate food, we do have a Pātaka Kai (community food share cupboard) at our location where you can drop off non-perishable items. Please speak with our reception staff beforehand so we can assist you with the process and ensure everything is handled appropriately.
We truly appreciate the kindness and support of our community, and every donation makes a difference in helping us provide vital resources to families and individuals in need. Thank you for your understanding and for helping us make a positive impact!
For those wishing to make a financial contribution, there is a donation section below, or you can donate directly into our bank account or in person with our reception team.
